U.S. based Tizbi signs up for Compodium’s virtual meeting services

The U.S. based software development company Tizbi Inc. signs up to use Compodium’s virtual meeting services – Compodium ACCOUNT.

-We intend to use the Compodium services as an addition to our Video Learning Channel, to provide our users the functionality of face-to-face learning, says Alexander Birger – CEO at Tizbi.

He continues to say it is a nice addition to traditional distance education classes, requested by multiple customers. It allows the students who have made certain progress in the self-paced training to add personal training, and to work interactively with subject matter experts to solidify the knowledge.

The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority extends contract with Compodium

The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, ‘Finansinspektionen’ (FI), extends their contract with Compodium in regards to webTV productions of press conferences and web seminars. The purpose of FI’s webTV investment is to enable for a larger audience to take part of for instance press conferences where the number of physical participants is limited.

There is a large interest to take part of both the live broadcasts as well as the possibility to watch these afterwards both from financial companies, authorities, universities and the general public.

Arctic Business Incubator signs up for Compodium’s virtual meeting services!

Arctic Business Incubator (ABI) has signed up to use Compodium’s virtual meeting services (Compodium ACCOUNT), enabling them to hold secure high quality video and audio meetings from computers, tablets and smart phones as well as communicating with existing legacy systems.

Market surveys shows a large demand for video meetings

Inera has performed two separate market surveys in regards to video and distance spanning meetings within county councils and regions. One of these was aimed at users of these services and the other at the decision makers.

Among the results one could deduce that more or less everybody has used video meetings and that 77 percent would like to use the service even more. It is mainly about reducing travelling and to take part of a more varied supply of meetings and educations using video meetings. This under the condition that the technology is easy to use and that the cost is kept down.

A large majority (91 percent) also beleives that the use of video meetings will increase within their operation. Many mentions that video meetings saves time and makes the health care more accessible and that they see even more fields of use for video meetings in the future.

Centre for Teaching & Research in Disaster Medicine and Traumatology renews agreement with Compodium

Compodium has received renewed trust to manage communication services for the Centre for Teaching & Research in Disaster Medicine and Traumatology, KMC in Linköping Sweden, the County Council of Östergötland.

The technical solution from Compodium makes it possible to gather participants to different catastrophe and coordination excercises where you either participate in person at KMC in Linköping or at distance from your own organization, county council or region.

The cooperation means that Compodium supplies a central switchboard functionality for IP telephony on SJUNET, the Swedish Health Care Network. This custom designed switchboard communicates partly with KMC’s large number of portable IP telephones as well as parties on the public telephone network. The system is set up before each session to meet the customers and the training managements scenarios.
